This Vegan Raspberry Maca Smoothie requires less than 10 ingredients to make and can be made in 5 minutes. It is vegan, gluten-free, and refined sugar-free.

I never was a big fan of smoothies until this past year. I normally prefer to eat all my fruits and veggies fresh and raw. I love the texture of them and don’t like the idea of mash them all together. However, my mind changed after I had an amazing smoothie at home that tasted like ice cream. I love the creaminess of it and how easy it is to make. All you have to do is add frozen fruits of your choice, some flaxseed or chia seeds for protein and some extra crunch as toppings. Super easy to make right?

I decided to add some maca powder to the smoothie as well for some extra nutritional benefits. Maca is a plant-derived from Peru thousands of years ago. It is considered as an adaptogen and helps with giving you extra energy, balancing your hormones, improving your immune system, and more. They are also rich in antioxidants. *Please note, I am not a medical professional and all the information is what I found through research. You do not have to add this to your smoothie if you do not want to. It tastes great either way. -fresh or frozen raspberries
-frozen banana slices
-plant-based yogurt of choice
-plant-based milk of choice
-flaxseed
-maca powder
-ground cinnamon
