This Vegan Chamomile Tea Latte is the perfect cozy, fall drink without any caffeine. It requires 6-ingredients only and makes for a comforting drink to have especially on stressful days.
My mom would wake up between 5 and 5:30 every morning even on weekends. I remember asking her why and she always said she has gotten used to it for taking my siblings and I to school every day and her body naturally wakes her up at around the same time.
After she washes up, she would come downstairs to the kitchen and start boiling water in her tea kettle. She would make coffee for herself, but also have a teapot of tea ready for me or my dad. I’m usually the second to wake-up every morning, and I love hearing the sound of the kettle boiling and the sound of my mom turning off the stove as she pours the hot water into the tea pot with the dried tea leaves she has put in already. She likes to alternate it between chamomile, black tea, green tea and jasmine. I love them all but especially the chamomile because of the smell of it. I also like the slight sweetness from it.
Although my mom did not really mind me stealing sips of her coffee, I also know the effects of coffee has on my mom. She could not go a day without it without having a headache right after. Thinking this, I almost opt for tea for a warm drink instead of coffee, not wanting the coffee addiction. I continue on with the love of tea to this day.On cold, chilly days or times when I feel stress, I always go for a warm drink and tea is usually my go-to. It reminds me of the warm kitchen from my childhood. I would put on my school clothes and with some fuzzy socks tip toe downstairs because we had really creaky stairs to go into the kitchen for breakfast and tea.
Instead of regular tea, I made an easy Vegan Chamomile Tea Latte that will warm your soul and keep you comforted no matter what is going on. If you are ready to make this Chamomile Tea Latte with me, let’s get started!
